2021 Championship Tournament Series Announced

October 10, 2020 - The Northeast Futsal Association has provided its schedule for State, Regional, and Multi-National Championship Tournaments this season. There are opportunities for players aged seven years old to adults to compete and test their might.

The Northeast Futsal Association is excited to bring together the best in futsal this winter through an exciting Championship Tournament Series spanning the North America continent and connecting the top teams to Italy's prestigious Montesilvano Cup.

The 2021 Northeast Futsal Festival, an annual event in Boston, MA, that averages close to 200 teams, will again feature the "Love of the Game Cup" for lower level teams, but it will also host the "North America Championship" for higher level teams.
 

The champions of the 2021 “North America Championship” will automatically be qualified to participate in one of the world’s biggest youth futsal tournaments, the "Montesilvano Cup".

In years past, the Northeast Futsal Festival has also hosted a February school vacation camp, along with Northeast Futsal Association's International Special Topics Coaching Course, which has been led by Brazil's Zego, FC Barcelona's Jordi Torras, and Australia's Barry McErlean. This year, the coaching course will be led by former Serie B Coach of the Year and current Qatar Men's National Futsal Team Coach, Flavio do Amaral.

 

The Northeast Futsal Festival will begin on February 15, with the tournament happening the weekend of February 20/21. For more details, go to www.northeastfutsalfest.com

The 2021 America's Cup, an annual event in Washington, D.C., that averages close to 200 teams, has also become the Northeast Futsal Association's Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship.

The historic DC Armory plays host to the higher level teams and the tournament is organized by the Alexandria Soccer Association, headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.

The 2021 Winter Blast, an annual event in Houston, TX, that averages close to 100 teams, has also become the Northeast Futsal Association's Southwest Regional Championship.

The brand-new Louetta Automotive Sports Complex in Cypress, TX, plays host to the tournament and is organized by Infinity Futsal, headquartered in in both Cypress and Spring, TX.

The 2021 Beantown Cup, an annual event in Boston, MA, that averages close to 100 teams, has also become the Northeast Futsal Association's New England Regional Championship.

The brand-new Millworks in Westford, MA, plays host to the tournament and is organized by Northeast Futsal Association, headquartered in Boston, MA. 

The Beantown Cup tournament will happen the weekend of January 9/10. For more details, go to www.beantownfutsal.com

The 2021 Bay States Games, an annual event in Boston, MA, that averages more than 7,000 athletes across 30 different sports, has introduced the sport of futsal and, in turn, become the Northeast Futsal Association's Massachusetts State Championship.

The brand-new Millworks in Westford, MA, plays host to the tournament and is organized through a joint partnership between the Bay State Games and Northeast Futsal Association. 

The Bay State Games tournament will happen on Saturday, March 13. For more details, go to www.baystategames.org/futsal
